Default need help please.

hi, i got a audi a4 b7 2.0t quatro . i just did my cts replacement today. unfortunately i came across a new problem which is that i accidentally broke the clip on the cts wiring clip while i was trying to take apart the cts and the wiring. is there any way to replace that part? and if there is, how? and what would be the part number for it. the wiring is holding the cts for now really good but i dont know how long it would be able to hold on. tnx in advance.

Check for a part number molded on the connector. Replacing the connector might be a PITA in the car though. I'd take a Zip-Tie and secure it somehow and be done with it.

The new connector should come with new pins that crimp onto the wire and slip up into the connector. The problem is can you get the wire up far enough to where you can actually WORK on it. You'll need to borrow some crimpers made to crimp those pins. Be sure to note with color wire went to which pin on the connector. It's not hard but tedious in tight spaces..

ecs only sell this https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Sit...3722/ES311345/ .i found a diy on how to replace it which gave me a good idea on it but the thing is do i have to take of the the L piece that is connected on the connector or just remove the pins right away just like on the diy.

If you can get the pins out like that, you've got it licked. The slip right back up in the new connector and lock. Be sure to take a knife blade and gently bent the little retainer barbs back out just a little bit to make sure they engage the connector housing when you slip them back in. Removing them with an extractor tool almost always pushes them down almost flush with the pin's surface.
