I need somebody that has there car jacked up in the air with all 4 up to try and see if the rear shaft will spin in park. I just bought a 01 a6 Quattro from auction that was a repo and when I got it it would roll in park. Pulled the sub frame and found the shifter cable bracket busted and I am now able to get it to click in to park but only while spinning both front cv's at the same time. I spin the rear and it just spins. So I am trying to find out if this is a normal condition or my trans is messed. I am afraid they wrecked something when they repo'd it by dragging with 2 tires in the air.
