Ive got a 2003 Audi a4 1.8t fwd, has 96000 miles. The car has a cvt (fsc) transmission. When i put the car in Drive, the car wont engage in gear right away, if i rev the engine little higher, the car will start to take off. Youve got to hold the break when the car is started because it will go in-reverse if on a hill, its almost like if you were to drive a stick car. All the other gears seem to be fine just the first gear. Has any one else had this problem? Any advice would be appreciated. Most shops cant tell me nothing then to tear it all apart.
