New battery fitted yesterday now starts then stops with immobiliser
Had a new battery fitted yesterday. All tested okay (started and ran for a while but not driven).
Now today start the car and after a few seconds the engine stops and a symbol of the car is displayed on the dash with a key underneath.
Any suggestions?
Have tried both keys.

RE: New battery fitted yesterday now starts then stops with immobiliser
The problem leading up to getting the battery changed was that the TT still had the original factory battery which is 6 years old. The TT had not been started from Thursday to Tuesday and it is coming onto colder weather here so it was a strain on the old battery on Tuesday morning. Actually the car started but the gauges and lights on the dash were doing weird things so it was backed back into the garage and a roadside assist service came and confirmed the battery was passed it's use by date.
Had a "so called" mobile Battery Replacement expert come around and fit a new battery on Wednesday. Car started fine and ran for a while but was not driven. It lost the memory in the radio and trip so the whole car was without any power for a short time when the batteries were swapped.
Next day, car starts and engine stops within seconds with the immobiliser warning symbols light on the dash.
It has now been transported on a flat bed to the stealership.
This is my wife's car and I was not there for any of this but what has now been determined was, when the batteries were swapped the key was in the ignition. Remove the key and now the key is out of sync with the computer it seems, so hopefully it is just a key or computer reprogram.
