Hi.


I recently brought a 2000 S4 bi Turbo to Northern California and I am having issues with getting the car to pass smog. Car did Pass smog when it was in Toronto Canada however I did have to disconnect the battery and re connect to clear codes. I have punched out the two upper cats and it is triggering a Engine light. Car also has a flash in the CPU, and exhaust. Shops here want me to put everything back to stock and that is just way to much $$$ any one have suggestions?

 

You're screwed by "virtue" of moving to the PDR of California. Unless you can find a shop that will pass it, unfortunately you're stuck. One more reason I'll never make the move there. Nice place to visit, I hear though.
