NEWBIE! got 2 codes that popped up help!!!

so i went and i got the codes checked out and it said P0420 cat below thresh hold and then it said P1296 DTC any ideas ? im lost Newbie here

yeah youll need a new cat id go ahead and change the post cat o2 sensor as well.. the p1296 is a general code having to do with the coolant system, possibly a fan or sensor.. kinda vague..
