Newbie Tech questions (check t-belt, misfire)
This is my first venture into the whole Audi thing, so I'm going to be all full of dumb questions for a while.... Jus sayin.
I'm trying to figure out some of these things before I even pick the car up actually, I have a 2001 S4 (2.7T, 6spd) it's at 206k miles and Im unsure if the second timing service has been done yet. Is there a way I can check the condition of the Timing belt? find out on my own if it's been done or not? That and I would like to know if theres a write up somewhere around that I just havent found yet on how to do it.
Also, the car has a slight miss under load, past half throttle, it kinda kicks a bit. Is this more likely to be coils/plugs or injectors?
Thanks!

Hi. Unless there is a sticker somewhere in the engine bay stating when ( if ) the belt was done or service history then there is no real way to say if it has been changed.
As far as the misfire goes, you need to get someone to check for error codes. A standard odb2 code reader will help ( if you don't have one, go to advance auto and they'll do it for free ) but a vag.com reader is better. This is an Audi / VW specific code reader.
Good luck.
