I suspect that the door that controls the airflow across the heater core is not operating or not operating properly.

is your temp guage moving. you thermostat could be bad. if you hold it at like 2500 rpm and you get heat you probably have a flow problem somewhere. follow the hoses going to the heater core and see where it goes from hot to warm.

I'm having the same problem. The engine is making enough heat. I think it's the flap that controls the heat thru the core. Does anyone know how to manually move the flap?

id check the heater control valve. it should be vacuum controlled. its under the cowl area. remove the plastic cowl trim and you'll see it where the two heater hoses go into the heater core. make sure your getting vacuum and the valve will hold vacuum itself.
