OnStar - completely useless?

Hi,

just picked up my 2004 Allroad with the OnStar package - since OnStar went all digital beginning of this year the console is now pretty useless.

Ayone found a way to upgrade to digital or make use of the darn thing for something else?

the dealer should do it for free they did my Yukon for free.
