Default outer tie rod end replacement a4

2000 a4 quattro-I am having a devil of a time getting the pinch bolt out. The manual states to remove the pinch bolt nut and then remove the bolt. I have trieda jam nut but so far no luck. any help is much appreciated. My wife is starting to get pissed at me for not taking it in. HELP

Before everyone jumps on me regarding searching old threads, I did. But I did not locate any suggestions on stuck pinch bolt. Mine did not just spin out. I have put penetrating oil and jam nut. Heat? thanks for the help

Your off to a good start. Hopefully the bolt isn't bent. Do you have a new bolt to put in?

Let the oil sit on it. Then you can tap it with a hammer, or put in a pry bar into the slot, & try to open it up just a little. Chances are the bolt is rust fused in there, or the pinch action is holding it in.

This just came to me, remove the top bolt from the TRE, & tap the tre after the bolt is out. That can also hold in the pinch bolt.

I have left it over night with oil still won't cooperate. The outer tir rod ends did not come with either bolts. Parts store should carry, I hope.
