A-pillar removal 2000 S4 B5
I did a search for this, but can't seem to find the answer...
How do you remove the A-pillar in a 2000 S4. I DO have the air bags there, and I hear there's some hidden torx screws holding the trim panel in. I'm not going to mount gauges, rather tweeters for my stereo there...or try to. I will NOT do this if I can't do it safely.
Cheers,
Matt

T-25 Torx head screw
You can tell the air bag only goes down the side, NOT across the windshield, and stops about 5.5" above the dash. This is good news for me since I CAN mount a tweeter there. Not to forget about you guys trying to mount a gauge on the A-pillar...My professional opinion says it's a bad idea. The way you'd have to mount it (from the pictures I've seen), will overlap some of the air bag release area, and turn the gauges into skull crushing projectiles.[&:]
I'll be happy to show how I've mounted the tweeters for you stereo guys.
Cheers,
Matt
