Please help! We have an A4. It has two warning lights on at the moment. one if for oil, which have topped up today. The other is a yellow circle with two brackets (parenthesis like this) around it. Sort of looks like:

in yellow.

Somehow we have misplaced the user manual and do not know what the symbol means or what we should do.

Can anyone help??

That warning light is to let you know that you need to replace your front brakes. Your front brakes of wear sensors in them. You need to get your car in soon for a brake job.
