I have an 03 a4 quattro 1.8 auto.
the car will occasionally hickup and the engine sems to die and restart instantly.. then the EPC light comes on... after that the car sat for a bit then it would not start, starter would engage but didnt seem to have any fuel to start the engine. I listened to the pump while someone tryed to start it and didnt hear the pump or and pulsation in the fuel line off the fuel filter then heard the pump start and fuel in the line when the car finally turned over, did a wiggle test on as much of the harness and air fuel related sensors and on the throttle body... I now have a check engine light but dont have access to a vag scan tool.. any one have any ideas im kinda thinking its the fuel sending unit
