hello all,
i have a 2000 s4 with the 2.7t with a 6-sp and quattro. i have lost power steering at idle rpms the only time it works at idle is when the car has sat over night. i do have power steering at speed and once i start moving but other than that nothing.

any ideas?

one think i forgot to mention is that iv i rev the engine when out of gear and turn the wheel i hear a grinding noise but that doesn't happen when driving
