I have an A3 2.0tdi sline with the dsg gearbox on a 54 plate. In the last week or so I have noticed that the automatic gearbox hasnt been changing up gears usually for me so I have had to override myself and switch back to manual to change up then down. This only happened twice last week, but now its happening on every journey. I dont do huge amount of mile about 40 miles per day. This evening though the ABS and ESP lights have flashed up and there was a weird banging noise coming from the rear end of my car (one for a few secons though) I stopped pulled over and checked the underneath but there was nothing there to suggest what it was. Does any of this link in to a known problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
