what is the proper way to adjust the headlights and foglights as well.. thanks

Theres this machine called the hella beemsetter. It gets aligned to the vehicle. The lights shine into it producing a pattern on a "target". You adjust the lights to the target using the two white plastic adjusting screws on each headlamp. If your vehicle is equiped with xenon headlamps you also need to set the height adjustment into a basic setting mode to teach it the base position for the headlights.

Or you can just aim it at a wall and watch it move untill you get it where you want.
