Q5 Garage Door Button Triggered When I Open and Close the Driver Door
 

The strangest thing started happening on my 2012 Q5 (2.0L) today. I pulled into my garage after pushing the HomeLink button. I was sitting in my car for a few seconds while the car was still on, and as I opened the door to get out, the garage button was triggered and the garage started to close.

I turned the car off and let the door close all the way, and when I closed the car door, the garage started to open. I let it open all the way, and opened the car door again, and lo and behold, the garage door started to close.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? I figured my roommate was messing with me, but he wasn't home at the time this happened.

Hey!! Did you checked the laser?? I think this might be the problem!!
Or can you tell whether your garage door is an old one?? If it so then why don't you replace it with the latest one, considering me a few years back when i was facing problems with my garage door then one of my friend suggested me to replace it with the new one and believe me I'm using it since 3 yrs i didn't got any kind of problem!!
