I think its the bearings. Audi bearing is diferent, its double in one. you wont get the play as the regular cars get. If bearing goes bad, its not becouse of extra wear, its becouse the bearing pass is damaged, like peace of the thing is taken out. hard to explain.
basic test is loading the tire with G force on turns, The test is oposite to turning, turning Left loads up the right bearing.
The suspended tire, and checking for free play, you check diferent thing. if A arm is suported by a woon block, the ball bearings can be checked by trying to move the tire in vertical. in horisontal you check the tie roads. when suspended and not suported, and tire is not driven tire, like front tires of a rear wheel drive car, then you can check the bearings for free play, but again its not checking for if the bearing is bad or not.

how mcuh did it cost you to do the bearings, one or all. and do you have a pic of the stabilizer link. i really hope its that, i saw a DIY for the bearings it looks like a B****.

well i found teh culprit, it was infact the rear pass side wheel bearing, for some th reason the one wheel i didnt check, duhhh. it had quitea bit of play in it so that whats causeing the noise. thatnks for the help guys.
