Default Question for those in the know...

2003 A4 1.8T Q. I have a boost leak somewhere but cannot locate it. I can hear it, and the VAG confirms....I figured I'd buy one of those gadgets that can check for these things but I need to know the size of the MAF. I've heard some ppl refer to 3" however I don't think that would be the case. Any advise would be muchly apprishated. Thanks.

Wow dude, excellent advise.... Why didn't I think of that.

Now, if anyone could tell me the correct size I could order the tool to find the leak.

Not sure on the size. But any leak you can hear you should be able to see. Start @ the turbo & work your way to the throttle body. Just make sure all the hoses are tight & on all the way. Also make sure all the vacuum hoses are attached.
