Radio code - I thought I was smart...but not so much
As I was getting ready to install the iPod Icelink in my2000 A6tonight, I remembered that if Ipull theradio fuseI'll need the radio unlock code to get it out of SAFE mode when I put the fuse back in. I rummaged through my glove box and was pretty psyched when I found the code, especially since I bought the car used and wasn't sureI even had it.
Then, just as I pulled out the head unit I saw it...the big sticker on the side of the unit that said "Factory Reconditioned" with a date: November 2002, nearly three years after my car went in service. I finished the installation, but the whole time I was thinking there's no way that the code I had was going to unlock this head unit. Sure enough, I tried it twice and got locked out.
Now I'm going to have to pay the dealer to give me the code for this unit. $%@#!

I can pull your radio code off of elsa web if you give me your VIN number and the radio serial number (AUZ number on side of radio) I can't get radio codes off elsa web for concert radios though, just sympthony for some reason.
