RE: S4 power door locks quit
Push the buttons and go to the trunk i have an a4 an in the trunk on the right side behind the panel is the motor for my locks it should have two blackskinny hoses that go into the locking motor. they might have just came loose. but before u go in the trunk turn ur car on an make sure it works manually with the buttons on the door. if they work then it just might be the batteries in ur key, go to radio shack and buy two new batteries and sync the locking mechanism.

Thanks for the info. Do you have to pull the entire side panel off to get at it from inside the trunk? I checked the fuses #6 and twenty something, andthey were fine.I listened for the pump/vacuum to operate when I pushed the unlock button but nothing.

The battery in the remote might be dead. I would start there.

Door button doesn't work either. Manually unlocking the doors from the drivers key won't lock/unlock the rest of the doors.

I'm in NE Tacoma - you know any shops that don't charge to much to plug it in around here?
