I had my igition switch replaced and my radio now says "SAFE" across the display. Anyone know how to get rid of this? The mechanic must have used my manual cause its no longer in the car so i cant read how to fix it. Isnt it some number combination i have to ender into the radio????

 

You need the code which should be in the owners manual. If you don't have the manual, you are SOL and will need to go to the stealership. I've seen it anywhere from 20 up to 100 bucks for them to fix it and it takes about 20 seconds.

 

Mine was on the top of my radio. I pulled out the radio and it was on top.
