Please help-shift indicator lights
I've searched the forum but can not find any problems like this so here goes for my first post.
This A4 1.8T is a 2004 model. Lately the shift indicators have been flashing and the check engine light is on then off. Has anyone had this problem and if so is it a dealer repair or can this old parts changer make the repair. These new cars have about ended my shade tree mechanic repairs but I keep trying. The A4 has around 60K miles.
