So my wife is in the garage on a step stool, next to our one week old 2006 A4 Avant. She steps down and her glorious *** comes straight down on the passenger side mirror. She hears a pop and the whole mirror is sagging down about ten degrees. It almost looks like the thing was glued into the support.

Anyway, anybody have the instructions on how to replace the unit. Dealer wants $600 and I am feeling very handy at the moment.
