Just registered after checking out the forum for a little while and i have my first question.

Ive had my 2002 S4 kept in the garage under the cover for about a month and yesterday when i took it out for the day i noticed the driverside side mirror is yellow... like the glass is tinted the other mirror is clear as usual has this happened to anyone before? how could it happen? can i fix it? and where can i buy replacement mirrors thanks

 

Your mirror is delaminating/ed.

No known fix, you'll hafta replace. I'll post some online replacement part sites (if someone else doesn't beat me to it) when I get home...

 

yea thats a bummer a have to replace it but it will prob be an easy reapair more than likely expensive though

You can prolly find just the glass, which is what you'll need, for $200-$300, odly enuff, you can also find teh entire assembly for $200-$300... Neat, huh?

It should be a snap out/snap back in procedure

 

i think the best fix is to replace your mirror, look for a reliable dealer that won't charge you with lots of $$$. for your replacement you can try autopartsdeal or other parts stores, check also ebay.. good luck.

 

happend to me to me, on the same miror. It stink, but when i drive i dont even notice it. I still gotta replace it.
