While I don't own an Audi, I do own an 04 Lambo Gallardo. I am considering replacing my speedo unit, and a Lambo tech says that is not possible, since they are tied to the VIN number. However, he also said that Audi has the ability to recalibrate my existing speedo with their electronic equip.

Any truth to this ??
