tachometer problems on '97 a6
 
my tachometer appears to be dead at times (wont move, even when i rev the engine) but then at times it will work fine... anybody know the fix for this? i'm new on here..

It's either the printed circuit board on the back of the cluster or it's the tachometer(inside cluster).

The Tachometer is easily replaceable and same story with the circuit board... not sure how much parts are...
