Default temp gauge reading hot

2002 Audi Allroad 2.7 when I start my car after its setting all night the temperature gauge starts at the half way mark and after running the motor for 15min. or so it goes all the way over to the H and the motor starts running bad any ideas what might be the problem ???

That thing is about to over head bad on you. Do NOT run it anymore until you find out why it's overheating. Check the coolant level. If it's low, you'll need to add coolant. If the reservoir is empty, you may have a coolant leak or worse. If it's leaking, find out where it's coming from. If the coolant level isn't too low, start the engine and pull the cap off the reservoir. If the coolant is trying to bubble or start to come up in the reservoir and overflow right away, you probably have a head gasket leak. If not, you probably just have a leak somewhere in the system. The radiator is probably the primary culprit. If you continue to run the engine into the H area on the gauge at starts running rough, it WILL blow a head gasket or worse. Heat will kill an engine quickly.

it was my temperature sensor after changing it the temperature gauge only goes up to the half way mark after running the motor for 20 min or more now I got other warning lights that come on the ABS the air suspension light and the ESP light it seems like one thing after another will it ever stop
