I have brought my car in several times to have this problem fixed, but no one seems to be able to figure out what is wrong. In the driver's side front end there is a loud thudding noise (sounds as if something is loose) when you hit a series of small bumps. The dealership has tried to replace the control arms on several occassions, and it has yet to solve the problem. Someone suggested to me that it could be the bushings, but I'm not sure.

Please help, this is so annoying!
