Timing Belt Question
I have heard from different sources that the timing belts on the 2002 Audi A4 1.8T's have been known to break early. At what mileage should I be changing mine? I have heard anywhere from 60,000 to 95,000 miles.
Ok then how about on the 2003 A4 3.0. I'm at 67k atm when might I think about changing it. I've heard 60k by alot of people but the dealer still says 105 is when I should do it. Its $1500 from a shop with all parts in the area and $500 if I do it myself and just use the garage. Damm apartment living.
Darknight101, I'd do it around 90K mi. Find an independent shop that charges
$800.
