Tire Pressure Altert
Not sure if this is the rigt forum, but my girlfriends 2009 A4 2.0T quattro has the tire pressure altert on. We have checked the tires multiple times and filled them up where needed but the alert will not go off. Thoughts?

Pure speculation: If those are the older TPS's that are mounted in each wheel, they use coin batteries with about a 5-year lifetime. 2009, 2014 around the corner, battery(s) could need replacing.
I've also known a TPS (on a different make) that simply went psycho, and required a mysterious Dealer Service Computer Reset.
AFAIK all you can do is check the manual, and then buy a test tool that will tell you if each transmitter is still transmitting properly. (If the battery needs replacing you need to unmount and remount all tires, yes.) And then it is off to special dealer tools.
The new style TPS is apparently in the ABS assembly, no longer in the tire, but I don't think that was shipping in 2009?
