Just bought the car and the guy thought mabey it was low on fluid. The top was hard to get down, had to help it along and now it won't go back up. Is there a place to fill the hydrolic fluid or do I gotta pull the whole pump ?? Any ideas or suggestions would be great. thanks

 

I haven't had too much experience with the older cabrios, but from what i have found is fluid leaks from the lines when they get old or the pump. It should be diagnosed by the dealer, and hopefully they have an old school tech there.

 

Oh and you should be able to manually close the top with the supplied tool in the fuse box. If the tool isn't there you can get one at the dealer for pretty cheap.

 

Got it up manually !!! now just have to figure out the power end.
