Default A4 Service Questions

New Guy here with a couple of questions.

So I recently purchased a 2007 Audi A4 with 24000 miles on it. At first I checked the glove box for the service book but I didnt find it under the steering column until two weeks later So to my dismay I checked out the service book and nothing has been filled in I currently have around 27000 miles now. So I was wondering...

Should I take my car in for the 25xxx service or wait until the time is up on the indicator?

What is a good estimate on how much I would pay for 25xxx service?

Thanks in advance, So far I love my car

if you have the money take it in. also your manual will tell you what services are required at what intervals. look to see what they are and do what you can yourself. its most likely to be inspections maybe some fluid changes.

Because the car is so new I bet all servicing was done by a dealer, so just go to a dealership with the VIN and they will pull all records for you.

Default Service answer

When I was looking to buy my audi, I'd call my local dealership's service department and ask them to look up the VIN of whichever used cars I found... They happily do it, and will have a full record of services for any relatively new audi (under 5 years old).

The majority of the early service is check this, check that. Basically, a glorified oil change.
You can check what needs to be done here:
http://www.bentleypublishers.com/tech/audi

You will get charged around $150.00 for your service, when it would cost you $50 to do yourself. Time and money my friend, time and money....

Thanks to everyone. I think I might just take it in like s31523 said if its around 150.00 just to be on the safe side.

Atlas I wish I would have done that from the start.
