TT brakes
I have an 02' TT 180 5 speed, 51K miles, and my brakes squeak like none other... I have tried to take the wheels off and clean off the pads, caliper, and rotor and no luck. I tried the brake quiet... still no luck...
Could this be caused by rotors that are starting to warp? I dont feel anything in the brake pedal such as vibration or anything... let me know
Thanks

How much life is on the pads? rear pads, could be a wear sensor if to low. Also depending on climate if there semi metalic brake pads they might squeek under hot n humid conditions, or simply after heating up and the metalic composition of the pads will expand and cause squeeking.(used to happen with my saab all the time). Try ceramic ones.
As ^ said , you might need new pads. I think only the front
pads have a warning (O) .
I believe our cars come with organic pads.
Semi-metalic and ceramic padsproduce less dust and
last longer. If your brake peddle doesn't vibrate during
braking, the rotors are good.

Sometimes you won't be able to notice a warped rotor through your brake pedal. You should visually inspect them and look for a growing lip on the the rotors. It is probably just the type of pad you are using that is causing the unwanted noise. By the way what did you use to clean your pads? You have to be careful not to get grease or anything on the pad or rotor as that could slow down braking.
