turning off ESP warning light
Hi
Just got my A4 B6 2.0L back from a service. I notice the ESP light is staying on.
I took it in because the oil min light kept coming on. turned out to be a sensor - pretty common apparantly. The service entailed oil filter, oil, transmission service, spark plugs, air filter. Car drives like a dream now.
But the damned ESP light won't go out. I'm taking it back on friday because the mechanic has had to order the oil sensor part so I'm not too concerned.
Anybody have any ideas why the ESP light is staying on and if there's a simple fix - (and yes I have tried pressing the ESP button!)
Cheers
TC

Thanks for that.
I'll ask the mech to VAG it when I take it in on friday. Everything is running better than ever, so I suspect something just needs to be reset.
Mind you it's good fun driving with the ESP off. Feels like a real car if you know what I mean - not quite as smooth, but much more responsive.
Cheers
