URGENT Engine Light on, I think coolants leaking please help!!!
So the story here i just bought a 2005 A4 1.8T Sedan from private dealer 153k kilometers,i need to drive to get to work and school but right now it is park. it has a brand new transmission, clutch, oil pump assembly. Runs super smooth but all of a sudden the engine light came on and i popped the hood and the coolant was filled a bit above max, i open the lid to the coolant and when i broke the seal some of the coolant squirted out the bottom but then stopped, then i just screwed the lid on. I have no idea whats going on please help???

The overflow drains below the reservoir. It boiled over when you opened it due to the sudden Change in pressure. Don't worry about it, check it cold. You're MIL is likely unrelated to your coolant level, go to autozone and have the DTC pulled, or have the Place you just bought it from diagnose an repair the fault
