vacuum noise after k&n filter install

I installed a K&n air filter and ever since when the air is on it makes a whistleing sound it goes on and off any ideas?

What year and model do you have? I would think it is just the noise of the intake. Did you check to make sure that the air box was closed all the way after you put in the new filter?

its gotta be the filter, its designed for more airflow, so your gonna have a small hissing moise.
