So my a4 is at CRC in NY, and while i wait for that to get fixed i bought a 1998 VW golf 2.0L to Daily drive. the car spudders and was acting weird, i have a CEL on and it came back to the secondary air pump. i located the pump in the front of the engine and did the vaccum test as i found on google answers. the pump is bad. now my question to you all is, how did this AIR pump fill up with water to the point when i took it off and flipped it upside down i could have filled almost 2 soda bottles...... how does that get water inside it? a large puddle and the airbox sucked it in? the previous owner is an idiot? thoughts here?
