What follows a bad coil ?????
Seems that the coils in the 1.8T is a common problem. Once you get them replaced things should run pretty smooth.
-My question is... can a bad coilpack or misfiring piston result in a loss of boost to your turbo? If so how long before your turbo will read that something was wrong?
I replaced my coils and the car runs just fine now, but my CEL came back on and the car runs fine still. My diagnostic read... " inseficiant turbo boost " what would this mean? I was thinking that maybe due to the misfiring piston that of course the boost wasn't building enough pressure but wouldn't that problem accure instant or could it take a few days for the turbo computer to read the malfunction? Please let me know...

If you have a failed coil and drove on it long enough you could damage your cat converter but not your turbo. If you get that rotten egg smell you know you roasted your cat by getting too much raw fuel in there.
As for your fault code, it could mean that you have a bad turbo, but a bad turbo sounds terrible, like a police siren actually. It most likely has a line blown off, or a leak on the intake side. It could also be a blown DV (diverter valve) causing you to purge all your boost.

Say i have a bad Turbo... what kind of cost goes with that being replaced?
Also i have noticed almost a winding sound from what i believe to be my turbo but i thought you should be able to here your turbo. It is very very quite and minor so i didn't think of it as a problem. Do you think this is the begining stage of it getting worse? Are you supposed to not be able to here anything at all? If it is a line do i just replace the line or hose and call it good?

You are supposed to hear the turbo spool up, you'll know if its bad, trust me, its really damn loud.
I would just get under the car and look around for any loose clamps or holes in one of the intake hoses. Just follow the main intake hose from the air box down to the bottom of the radiator over to the intercooler on the driver's side, and into the engine. You will find a problem somewhere. If you can't find it visually have the dealer pressurize the intake system and smoke test it.
