where's the oil filter??
 
hey there, i'm about to change my oil, but i haven't located the oil filter yet? can anyone tell me where it is? or even better a pic of it.

also, what is the best oil filter to use?

what about good spark plugs to use?

it's a '98 A4 2.8 Quattro the 5 valve.

you can't miss it. Just crawl under the car, its on the drivers side.

from top looking down...if you can see its drivers side "down there"......its easier on the 1.8T's

chya, make sure you get a Mann or Mahle oil filters. only ones built to work with the thick oil you should be running in your car

u gotta take of a stupid plasic gaurd thing after u put the car up on ramps or somthing cuz your definatly not getting underneath that easy if its on the ground
