Hi guys. New to the forums - my brother just got a 2007 Audi A4 Quattro that is supreme looking, and I am joining to help him out. I'll get pics up later.

But, the first problem we've come across with this vehicle is that, when driving it on the road, releasing the gas pedal instantly causes a whirrrr that lasts a second or so. It sounds to me to be coming from the front of the car for sure, and from what I can tell inside of the engine bay. The car, however, does not make the noise when in park revving the engine - only when driving, so we can't figure out exactly what it is. Any ideas, guys?

I've found similar threads on the web with what seems to be the same problem, but with no resolution. Hopefully you guys can help a bit!
