Default Why two pullers in timing kit?

I just changed my timing belt and when I was all done I noticed an extra "roller wheel" in the box. The one that was preinstalled on my tensioner was made of brass I believe, but the extra one in the box was made of metal... Here's a pic of my old tensioner and the new part next to it- so you can see what I'm talking about... Why did Dayco install the one on the tensioner, yet gave me an extra?

Default My fault

I was using my iPhone and Ive notice this site does not work well with the apple iphone as far as editing and pictures goes. I ended up having to upload the pic with my computer.
Like I said, the Dayco- Audi 1.8T B6 timing belt kit included the tensionor with a pre-installed "roller" already on it but the kit also had included an additonal roller, that looked as if it were made of metal and the preinstalled one being of what looks like brass. My qestion is, Was the brass roller just some kind of "filler" a type of protective part for shippoing purposes, and the metal meant for installing once your ready for installation? I found directions in the box, but they fail to specify the purpose of the two. Im thinking of calling the CO. tommrow to get to the bottom of this- Im just scared that it perhaps could be a big failure point, if my assumption is correct.

The brass roller was probably not a "filler". IF it was, I would hope they would have put a warning tag on it telling the installer this. However, it doesn't look like it would need to be installed just to ship it. Definitely call them and make sure though. The brass looking one may indeed be just cadium plated steel.
