wierd door locking issues
99 A6 2.8L Quattro
my doors just recenty started locking themselves while driving. several times locking and activating the alarm while driving and or locking me in the car. i have to hold the handle until the locks tire out to get out of the car. the keyless entry stopped working also even after replacing the batteries. when i get in the car i have to use the key and unlock it several times while fighting with the door locks. its really annoying and embarassing. i feel like i need to do something soon before it starts to affect pumps, switches, motors, etc... has anyone experienced this before? any ideas? thanks in advance.

sticking servo in one of the doors not an easy task could be they need some lubricant on the workings but the door cards need to be removed to get at the servos (the alarm wont come on while your driving)

RE: wierd door locking issues
is this an expensive part if it cant be repaired? i also didnt think it would be possible for the alarm to come on while driving. it usually only happens when i start the car with the door open and the locks trying to activate. it has happened to me several times that way. would this also cause the keyless entry to stop working? thanks again.
