Wiggly A3...only when going left
Hi, I'm new to this forum. I just bought a 2009 A3 Sportback Quattro SLine with 153000km.
Something weird is going on. When on the highway and turning to the left only the car begins to wiggle back and forth...all passengers can feel it...you can actually see everything and everyone swaying back and forth. It's a very unnatural feeling. It feels as if the AWD or traction control is causing it. It doesn't feel like a balance issue or bearing type thing. It's very unsettling and definitely feels like it is being induced by one of the cars stability or AWD systems.
To test its I tried jerking the car to the right at city speeds and nothing exciting happens but when I do the same to the left you definitely feel the car react in a very jerky sort of way. It kinda throws the car back into line...doesn't feel right. Worried about what would happen if snow were on the ground and this happening at hoghway speed.
Any ideas would be appreciated...
Thanks!
