1.8t intake advice
 
I'm not really sure which intake i should get. i found a carbonio one for like $380 but i also found an evo intake that was cheaper which one is the best? please help

intakes are more complex then you think you cant just go changing them out with other car ones. chances are you will have a "f"ed up idle if you do so. but one that is made for the car. a good intake starts with a good exhaust and the most effective way to boost your air flow is with port sizing and piston speed.

it also depends on what torque and hp range you looking at.

longer smaller intake runners are good for low rpm torque short fat runners are for high rpm. but are gonna idle like shit. plus you already have air being ramed into the combustion chamber with the turbo.

If you're seeking hp gains, invest your money elsewhere; however if you want to hear your turbo or enhance the look of your engine bay there are a few options out there.

I plan on making a K&N cone filter/custom heat shield setup for my car. From what I've heard, a good heat shield seems to be a very important part of any intake setup for our cars.
