Default 2002 A4 3.0 Intake/Exhaust/chip opinions and help

Hey guys,

I'm looking for some upgrades: intake, exhaust and a chip. I can't find too many options out there for my car. Where can I find any and which are the best?

Thanks

Well there is couple of options...
Borla- $900
Neuspeed- $1000
Milltek- $1400

Or my Fav -- Make your Own for a fraction of cost
It all depends on how deep your pockets are LoL

Well, I've heard a chip won't do much because they're most calibrated for the 1.8t. I also have read loads of reviews on cold air intakes being detrimental to the hp/torque. I would love to do a custom exhaust, but there isn't an exhaust shop near me. So there are my problems.

ha ha, having that said, do I consider a chip still? Anyone have significant gains with this engine with a chip?

With the cold air intake, should I skip it and go with a K/N drop in filter instead?

Thanks,

you wont gain much hp with a chip. its not really the type of motor that would greatly benefit from a chip like the boosted motor does.
