2004 a4 cabriolet 3.0 rear drive shaft removal
 

I need to change my catalytic converters and ran into a snag to get them out I need to remove the the drive shaft and drop the transmission to make room to get them out. I removed the drive shaft heat shield and all the #6 allen bolts but even after that I could not get the shaft to separate from the trans. if anyone knows what I need to do next please help. Thanks
