2009 Audi A4 3.2 exhaust
Hi everyone, so I have had my Audi A4 3.2L for awhile now and I've gotten my resonator deleted as well as gotten a new muffler change for the basic magnaflow mufflers (twin exhaust), and I was told that a Magnaflow true X-pipe would help bring out the roar of my engine and have more of a solid tone. At the time, my car drones a bunch and I wanted to have more of a solid tone of the exhaust. Please let me know if it'd be worth it to get an X-pipe for it. Thanks

Did you replace your middle resonator with 2 strait pipes? If so, you now technically have an unbalanced dual exhaust system because the resonator also functions like a 'balance pipe'. This isn't necessarily bad or wrong but it obviously isn't producing the sound you're looking for. I've never used an X-pipe before but it might restore balance to your exhaust since it does allow intermixed flow between both banks. If a simple balance pipe is cheaper, that might be a good economic alternative. And as always, review your local regulations on the matter before beginning any exhaust mod. ;)
