Blow off valve?????
 

hello, im new here and new to Turbo cars...
before i had a 2000 supercharged pontiac grand prix so it did not have a option for a blow of valve...

I always liked the way the sound it makes.
are they worth it or should i just skip it and just get an intake for now?
Will they damage a OEM setup?

I have a 2004 A4 1.8t

skip it and don't get an intake, save your money to get real power

if you are on a budget get a tune and upgrade your dv, then move to exhaust and upgrade your ic

or if your not on a budget, upgrade your turbo and all the other goodies

you probably don't remember me, but I met you and your vehicle at Parktown imports awhile back...you were buying a bolt, I was buying gaskets. BOV are bad for our cars, use DV only...and the stock intake is very efficient...listen to kraut and get an exhaust or tune or upgraded turbo

now i just need to know what is a dv? ill look on the site maybe it has the definition....

a dv or diverter valve is the vave that you are trying to replace, it goes from under the intake manifold to the tip(turbo inlet pipe) to the inter cooler

and when should i do a timing belt change?

the dv recirculates the air back into the system.... and no to the exhaust since it is for a b6, which has dual exhaust and you have single


like i said, start with chip, dv and boost gauge

then move to the other stuff, front mount and exhause(test pipe/muffler.....)



oh and ebay is not really the place for audi people to buy their parts
