Ceramic Coating Parts

I have been considering ceramic coating several engine pieces in an effort to increase engine efficiency (maybe get some power from lowered air temps). Anyone have any experience with this?

Pointless for a daily driver. Good for a track car(drag race). Reason being, no matter what you coat a part with that coating will eventually take on the heat characteristics of the part it is coating. It does take longer to heat up so for drag racing or auto cross or racing of a short time span it is great. If you are going to have the engine at temperature for any sustained time it is a waste of money.

Hopefully this helps your decision. it does have it's upside just make sure you are doing it for the right application.
